The Health Sciences and Human Services Library is now providing a bioinformatics workstation in the commons area on the first level of the Library for Faculty, Staff and Students and of The University of Maryland Baltimore.. The high performance computer is loaded with licensed and open-source software and is dedicated to high-throughput data analysis. Assistance is available Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All first time users of the workstation are required to submit a request for consultation with the Bioinformationist here. Users will receive an orientation and be able to ask specific questions about using the computer for their needs.

If you are going to need assistance you must book at least 24 hours in advance or library staff may not be available to help you.
