The Library has 41 study rooms available for use throughout the 2nd – 5th floors.

Study rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors may be reserved for group study.
Study rooms on the 4th and 5th floors are available on a first come, first served basis.

Priority is given to UMB faculty, staff and students.
Individuals may be asked to leave an unreserved study room in favor of a group if no other study rooms are available. Information Services staff will assist if necessary.

Each room is equipped with a table and chair(s), white board, and large monitor to facilitate collaboration.

White board markers can be checked out at the Information Services Desk.

Feel free to bring in snacks and drinks while you are studying.

Guidelines:

• You may reserve study rooms up to 3 weeks in advance.
• Study rooms must be reserved at least 1 hour before use.
• You may reserve up to 3 hours a day.
• Multiple time slots per booking are allowed.
• Back to back bookings must leave 2 hours in between bookings.
• Rooms are self-monitoring. If someone is in a room that you have reserved, kindly ask them to leave or go to the Information Services Desk and ask for assistance.
• UM faculty, staff & students may reserve rooms using their University of Maryland email address.
